Special consideration: Sterling silver is a precious metal; it will tarnish if not worn or stored air-tight. Wear will patina the silver. it will scratch and ding. Active dogs' tags, after being worn for months, through goofing around, swimming etc., will show signs of wear and patina. Some people love this, other's don't. Keep this in mind.
