| The Epona, named after the Celtic goddess Epona who protected horses and foals, was designed to celebrate the intimate and historic relationship between our two most prized and important domestic animals: the horse and the dog.
All settings are hand-cast of fine, lead-free pewter. The D-rings, adapted from a historic Celtic belt buckle, are custom cast for bon Christiani in solid bronze with pewter patina finish.
All stones except jade are historically correct, as they were used in jewelry making by various Celtic peoples, some since prehistoric times. These fashion dog collars sport all the bon Christiani trademark features:
- Handcast settings of lead-free fine pewter.
- Handcast D-rings adapted from a historic bog man Celtic belt buckle, custom created for bon Christiani in solid bronze.
- Rugged, equestrian-strength bio-imitative leather strap material lined with bio-imitative suede. Soft, extremely durable, and with the eye appeal of fine leather, but washable. Non-staining, and does not support the growth of bacteria, mildew or mold.
