The Greyhound was introduced in the United Kingdom in the 5th century B.C. This Sight Hound was used primarily for hunting because of their keen eyesight. The Greyhound is the only dog mentioned in the Bible. Timeless and elegant, the Hartman Collection is durable. Made of eco-friendly Italian vegetable dyed one cut leather with a handsome circular applique stitched in the center. The collar is tapered with hand painted edges.

Hartman & Rose uses only the finest quality leather. Exquisite natural Italian full-grain vegetable tanned leather is combined with the exquisite Italian hardware. All collars and leads are hand cut and stitched with hand painted and polished edges. Each collar and lead is bench made with close attention to detail such as hand polishing and handset semi-precious gemstones and Austrian crystals. Using only natural full-grain leather made from the finest hides which have not been sanded to remove imperfections, leaves the grain in its natural state which allows the best fiber strength, resulting in greater durability. The natural full-grain leather will wear better than other leather. Rather than wear out, it will develop a natural 'patina' and grow more beautiful over time. The finest leather products are made from natural full-grain leather.
Italian buckles and D-rings along with all jewelry icons are plated in a variety of finishes: 22 karat polished gold electro-plate, polished nickel, antique nickel and antique gold. Many pieces are adorned with Swarovski Crystals, German glass stones, Austrian crystals or natural semi precious gemstones.
To clean, wipe hardware and jewelry with a soft damp cloth.
