This custom, handmade muzzle speaks volumes of bold style, yet reserved confidence. Your dog will look great and enjoy superior ventilation. Padded upper-nose area prevents rubbing and provides maximum comfort. Completely safe and non-toxic. Leather muzzle will not stick to a dog's snout in winter and will not reflect excessive sunlight. Also inhibits biting and chewing when properly fitted and is extremely difficult for the dog to dislodge with its paws. Fits German Shepherd, Saint Bernard and similar snout-shape breeds.
D&T leather undergoes a combination tanning process from century-old tanneries in the Netherlands and UK; first it is tanned with a Chrome Salt solution to make the leather flexible and more resistant to heat and scratching, then it is Vegetable tanned to make it firmer and more water-resistant.
Over the years, Dean & Tyler leather goods will become softer, not weaker and will develop a distressed vintage look. Wax is brushed on the edges of D&T leather products to prevent fraying, and give a smooth finish. Similarly, all stitching is made of waxed or neoprene thread. Customers should expect their D&T leather to last for at least a decade with the exception of extraordinary circumstances like constant chewing.
