The definition of "haute couture" is the designing and making of high-quality fashionable attire. In the early 20th century in France it literally meant "high dressing". This is exactly how you will feel when you experience this collection. Black and white patent leather adorned with a tri-link teardrop high luster pearls set in crystals banded by hand-painted French enameling in burnt sienna and black. Ooh la la!

Hartman & Rose uses only the finest quality leather. Exquisite natural Italian full-grain vegetable tanned leather is combined with the exquisite Italian hardware. All collars and leads are hand cut and stitched with hand painted and polished edges. Each collar and lead is bench made with close attention to detail such as hand polishing and handset semi-precious gemstones and Austrian crystals. Using only natural full-grain leather made from the finest hides which have not been sanded to remove imperfections, leaves the grain in its natural state which allows the best fiber strength, resulting in greater durability. The natural full-grain leather will wear better than other leather. Rather than wear out, it will develop a natural 'patina' and grow more beautiful over time. The finest leather products are made from natural full-grain leather.

Italian buckles and D-rings along with all jewelry icons are plated in a variety of finishes: 22 karat polished gold electro-plate, polished nickel, antique nickel and antique gold. Many pieces are adorned with Swarovski Crystals, German glass stones, Austrian crystals or natural semi precious gemstones.

To clean, wipe hardware and jewelry with a soft damp cloth.
