Named for King Charles II, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel’s purpose in life is to lounge around with the king (or queen) of the house. Or take you for walks. The Cavalier is pretty happy doing just about anything! This small dog features a soft coat in solid, bi-color and tri-color patterns, and loves being around children and learning new tricks. The Cavalier’s popularity has soared in recent years, thanks in part to a spot on “Sex and the City,” but mostly because they make very agreeable companions in the city or the suburbs.
